On Thursday December 2nd the New York Young Leaders gathered to mark the beginning of the holiday season with their annual Celtic Christmas Celebration in Moran’s Chelsea. The party was a great success and fantastic way to end another successful year for the Young Leaders.
More than 150 Young Leaders gathered for a night of dinner, dancing and Christmas spirit. Regional Director, Caitlin McCormick thanked the Young Leaders for being there and showing their support for the Fund in a time where private funding is so very needed in Ireland. The highlight of the night was the presentation of the Young Leader of the Year Award to Tom Kennedy. Tom was presented with the award by AIF Chairman Loretta Brennan Glucksman for his dedication to the Young Leaders and for all he has done to support the Fund.
Guests also enjoyed a silent and live auction with some terrific prizes. Prizes included NFL Giants tickets, an exclusive trip to San Francisco and Napa, a luxury package to the Irish Derby and much more.
