After a guided tour through Dan Mulhall, Greta Mulhall, Ingrid Basse, Kurt PillmannDusseldorf themed a city which is changing its face IFoGs members and friends came together at McLaughlins Irish5 Greta Mulhall, Ingrid Basse, Pub, in the center of Dusseldorfs vibrant Old City (Altstadt). The Chairman of IFoG, Elmar Conrads-Hassel, and hisKurt Pillmann6 Amb.Dan Mulhall, Dr Ursula Hassel, wife, board member Dr Ursula Hassel had chosen the venue to commemorate Tom McLaughlin, the former owner ofGreta Mulhall, Elmar the Pub and a long-standing friend and supporter of The Ireland Fund of Germany who tragically died four years ago. Conrads-HasselDuring the evening Elmar Conrads-Hassel bid farewell to the Irish Ambassador to Germany, Dan Mulhall who is on hisway to assume his new post as Irish Ambassador to Great Britain. Elmar Conrads-Hassel thanked Dan and his wife Gretafor their great work during their four years in Germany and wished both every success and luck in London.
