Director SallyannePatricia Fox 3 Dr. Tom Moore, Prof. Iain Watson, Atkinson AO, former Lord Mayor of Brisbane, then spoke of why she is involved with the Fund. The host, Prof. Iain Martin MurrayWatson explained that he is involved with the Fund because he believes education is the key. Lastly Dr. Tom Moorespoke of the friendships he has formed with Fund supporters and the opportunity to give back to Ireland.1 2 3The Australian Ireland Fund Melbourne Lunch JUNE, 2013 Australian Ireland Fund Chairman John ONeill AO, officially welcomed close to 200 guests to our1 Fergus Ryan and Chairman of the Australian Ireland Fund annual Melbourne lunch including Ambassador Noel White, he acknowledgedlocal Directors Ted Johnson, RichardJohn O'Neill AOOBrien and new board member Paul OBrien. The Chairman made a presentation to Kevin Luscombe AM, retiring 2 John O'Neill AO, Brendan Sheehan, Board member, thanking Kevin for his enormous contribution to the Fund in Melbourne since its inception in 1987. TheKevin Luscombe AMlunch was a social and financial success, with funds raised supporting two flagship projects in the Republic of Ireland 3 Dr. James King, Ambassador Noel White, this year, Barnardos Loughlinstown and Darndale Belcamp Integrated Childcare Services. Both of these Dublin Ted Johnsonprojects have had major funding cuts. Without the assistance of The Australian Ireland Fund and its generous supporters, neither NGO could maintain their current level of service and quality for another year.connect2013 | 100"
