Other special guests included HE Irish Ambassador Joseph Hayes3 Irish Chamber Orchestra and his wife, Deirdre Hayes; Dr Maurice Manning, Chancellor of the National University of Ireland and Dr Attracta Halpin,Quartet4 Minister Brendan HowlinRegistrar ofthe National University of Ireland. Despite the rain, all enjoyed the pre-luncheon drinks on the waterfrontaddressing TSIF Supporters and lunch in one of Singapores heritage conservation shophouses, and were entertained by the Irish Chamber Lunch5 Dr Leslie Lam, Noor Quek,Orchestra Quartet. The Quartet was sponsored by The Singapore Ireland Fund to play at events during the St PatricksTara BarkerDay Street festival as well as to participate in the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youths School Music Programme.6 Noor Quek, Dr Stanley Quek and Desmond Sheehy leadingThe afternoon ended with some guests participating in the St. Patricks Day Parade and the street festival that followed.TSIF contingent.connect2013 | 101'
