Each year, John Fitzpatrick, Chairman of The American Ireland Fund, brings together supporters from all around the United States and Ireland for a beautiful day of golf at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. To date, the Fund has raised over $3,000,000 for charities in the United States and in Ireland and has enabled many charitable and humanitarian organizations worldwide and across Ireland to empower and provide aid tochildren and families in need. A highlight of the Texas Irish American Cup Challenge dinner was Brian Caseys presentation of a check to Camilla Ballard, recipient of the first Corboy Anam Cara Award andDirector of Youth, at First Presbyterian Church, Dallas. The check went to support of integrated education in Northern Ireland to establish an American-style Camp at Lagan College, Belfast.
