A total of $384,500 in grants had been made to integrated education and reconciliation 3Colin Fassnidge, Chris Knaap, Jane Cosgrove in Northern Ireland, community development and education in Ireland and Indigenous scholarships together with The Australian Indigenous Education Foundation. The Ambassador thanked all guests on behalf of the Government and people of Ireland for not only their financial support, but their friendship and interest in Ireland. Louise Kelly of the Sydney Young Leader Committee spoke about how she became involved with the Fund in order to contribute to the community and give back to Ireland and Australia.
