Flagship funding from The Ireland Funds is helping Cancer Fund for Children support children and their families facing a cancer diagnosis. One major project: a second therapeutic short-break centre that will more than double capacity.
How grants from the Ireland Funds are providing support:
- RISE Program offers therapeutic support to young people impacted by cancer
- Free “short breaks” at Daisy Lodge, a purpose-built therapeutic center
- Grants to help build a second therapeutic short break center in Mayo
- Over 1,500 children and young people supported every year
