Through our Donor Advised Giving program, supporters can recommend grants to charities and initiatives they wish to support, while benefiting from The Ireland Funds’ five decades of strategic grantmaking, trusted relationships, and deep knowledge of Ireland’s nonprofit landscape.
How it Works
The Ireland Funds partners with families, foundations, and corporations to give back to Ireland in a meaningful and impactful way.

As Ireland’s largest private source of philanthropic support, our supporters have unparallelled access to our:
- 50 years of grantmaking experience
- Expertise in due-diligence, project vetting, and impact evaluation
- In-depth local and national knowledge of Ireland’s nonprofit sector
- Long-standing relationships with outstanding nonprofit organizations that are improving lives across the island of Ireland every single day
Guided by The Ireland Funds, the generosity of our supporters has increased access to education, provided scholarships, supported mental health, advanced peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland, nourished arts and culture, and improved well-being and healthcare, among countless other examples of lasting impact.
There is no cost or fee for donors or grantees to partner with The Ireland Funds. We conduct due diligence, work directly with recipient organizations, and manage the grantmaking process from start to finish. This ensures that gifts are distributed efficiently, and that the organizations we support meet the highest standards of transparency, accountability, governance and reporting.
