RIAM 175 Gala Concert

The Ireland Funds is strengthening the arts. In 2023, with support from The Ireland Funds, the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) proudly unveiled its transformed campus. It now includes state-of-the-art teaching and performance facilities including a Music Discovery Hub for students with additional needs so all students can reap the transformative benefits of music education. This month, the 175 Gala Concert celebrated this significant moment in RIAM history with a showcase of musical talent in the magnificent surrounds of the new Whyte Recital Hall.


One Young World Summit 2023

One Young World Summit 2023

The Ireland Funds is supporting tomorrow's leaders. The Ireland Funds was a sponsor of the One Young World Summit in Belfast this month. Thousands of young delegates from almost 200 nations and over 250 organizations gathered to examine global issues, accelerate social impact, and hear from global leaders including former President of Ireland Mary Robinson and Prof. Muhammad Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank.


NI Alternatives Conference

NI Alternatives Conference

The Ireland Funds is creating space for dialogue. Marking the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement, The Ireland Funds supported the NI Alternatives Conference this month. The program – Gendered and Grassroots Approaches to Peace and Conflict – welcomed 20 working-class women from cross-community organizations in Northern Ireland for meaningful dialogues with students and civic leaders from across the island of Ireland.
