Boston Young Leaders Summer Social 2026

On Thursday, June 4, close to 100 supporters of The Ireland Funds gathered at The Dubliner for the Boston Young Leaders Summer Social.

Boston Young Leaders Co-Chairs Anisha Sullivan and Bobby Kelly welcomed guests and expressed gratitude for their ongoing support. They highlighted how donors’ generosity directly benefits non-profits across the island of Ireland as well as locally in Boston. Anisha also highlighted The Ireland Funds’ 50th anniversary celebrations, emphasizing the organization’s impact over the past five decades.

Amy O’ Carroll, Operations & Communications Manager at The Irish Pastoral Center, shared insights into the organization’s vital work. She thanked The Ireland Funds for its recent support, made possible by the success of the 2025 Young Leaders St. Patrick’s Celebration.

Bobby next introduced special guest, Irish Consul General Sighle Fitzgerald, who reflected on The Ireland Funds’ pioneering support for peace in Northern Ireland during the 1970s and its ongoing positive influence. She addressed the Young Leaders as the next generation of emerging philanthropists, assuring everyone that the future was in capable hands.

To conclude a wonderful evening of friendship, goodwill, and networking, the Co-Chairs thanked attendees for their support and commended the Young Leaders Committee for their dedication to The Ireland Funds’ mission. They wished everyone a fantastic summer and encouraged all gathered to stay involved as they looked forward to upcoming fall events.
